"LEX FAIR ANNUAL DAY EVENT – 2022"

Oriental College of Law celebrated its annual function on 06th May 2022. The chief guest for the occasion was Mrs. Apeksha Mundargi eminent classical dancer in her field with accolades all over India. The occasion was chaired by the Principal Mrs. Rupali Jamode mam and ended with a flash mob by the students.

"ANNUAL DAY - 2019"

The Oriental College of Law Celebrated Annual Day in order to say Good bye to the Memory Lane of the Past Year and bring all the Students, Teaching and Non-Teaching Team together and make it more memorable. To make it more memorable for the student’s events such as: –

  1. Solo, Group, Duet Dance
  2. Solo, Group, Duet singing
  3. Mono Act
  4. Stand up
  5. Skit
  6. Fashion Show
  7. Mr & Ms Oriental
  8. Student of the Year

To witness such a climax of 2018-19 and to begin the story of 2019-2020 We had amongst us Dr. Kiran Sharma Maam, Asst. Prof. K. C. College of Law, Dr. Padgaonkar Maam, HOD, Business Law Dept, K. J. Somaiya College of Science and Commerce, Dr. P. Y. Gaonkar, Principal Oriental College of Law felicitated our guest.
Then the cultural event started with big bang after welcoming our guest. In the mid-performance of the cultural event we had a Illusion Show which was specially arranged for Students with the help of our Beloved Adv Dr. Prakash Deshmukh Sir. After the Illusion Show the entire Artist were felicitated by Dr. P. Y. Gaonkar, Principal Oriental College of Law and Prof. Rupali Jamode, Vice-Principal Oriental College of Law.

The date and time will pass away but I am sure that the memories of all the beautiful performance will stay fresh in everyone mind, until we come back in 2019-2020 with more power pact performance.

"ANNUAL DAY - RHYTHM 2018"

Oriental College of Law has celebrated its “Third Annual Day – Rhythm 2018” on 31st March 2018 at Agari Koli Sanskriti Bhavan, Nerul, Navi Mumbai from 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Prof. Dr. Narayan Madhukar Rajadhyaksha, Principal, New Law College, Mahim, Mumbai was the Chief Guest of the programme. He was welcomed and felicitated by the Dr. Mrs. Shitala Gavand, Principal, Oriental College of Law. She gave introductory speech and the Chief Guest of the event Prof. Dr. Narayan Madhukar Rajadhyaksha gave very inspirational speech and narrated the importance of extra-curricular activities and highlighted the difference between law graduate and a lawyer.

Various cultural events were performed by the students of five year law course and 3 year law course, like solo and group dance, solo and duet singing, skit on social issues, fashion shows, etc.
After the cultural events, another important event i.e. Prize Distribution Ceremony took place. Meritorious students and winners of various competitions viz. debate, elocution, Moot Court and Sports Events were felicitated with attractive prizes and Certificates of Merit.

Mr. Abhijeet J. Sawant, student of final year 3 year course was given Best Student Award.
This year Oriental College of Law felicitated Prof. Mr. Jobi Joseph, Vice Principal, Public Jr. College of Science & Commerce, Santacruz, with award of “Best Visiting Faculty”. At the end, vote of thanks was proposed by Asst. Prof. Mrs. Rupali Jamode and the program was concluded with national anthem.

“ANNUAL DAY - RHYTHM 2017”

Oriental College of Law has celebrated its “Second Annual Day – Rhythm 2017” on 25th March 2017 at Sahitya Mandir Sabhagruh, Sector – 6 Vashi, Navi Mumbai  from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Dr. Mrs. Smita Karve Principal, Lala Lajpat Rai College of Law, Mahalaxmi was the Chief Guest of the program and Dr Ashok Yende, Director, National Law School, University of Mumbai was the Special Guest of the program. Annual function Rhythm – 2017, begins with lightning of the lamp by the Chief Guest Dr. Smita Karve, Special Guest Dr. Ashok Yende, Principal OCL, Dr. J. B. Patil, Professor & Advocate Dr. Prakash Deshmukh and the Professor-in-Charge Mrs. Shitala Gavand.

          Then after welcome address and introductory speech by Mrs. Shitala Gavand, all the dignitaries were felicitated. Dr. J. B. Patil, Principal also addressed the students. The Special Guest of the event Dr. Ashok Yende delivered motivating speech. Then Chief Guest of the event Dr. Smita Karve gave very inspirational speech and highlighted the importance of extra curricular activities to overcome stage fear.

Then cultural events were performed by the students of five year law course and 3 year law course, like solo and group dance, solo and duet singing, skit on social issues, fashion shows, etc.

This year Oriental College of Law felicitated Professor & Advocate Dr. Prakash Deshmukh with award of “Best Visiting Faculty”.

At the end, vote of thanks was proposed by Asst. Prof. Mrs. Ravnish Bector and the program was concluded with national anthem.

“ANNUAL DAY - AMICUS 2016”

Oriental College of Law organised ‘Annual Day-AMICUS’2016’ on 29th February 2016 at Bunts Hall to boost our students and to create an opportunity for them to explore their talents. Dr. Ashok Yende, Head of the Department of Law in Mumbai University was the chief guest to inaugurate the occasion. He was welcomed by Dr. Nusrat Ali Hashmi, Principal of OCL. The students very actively participated in the programme and showed their enthusiasm and interest.

The coordinator of the Programme was Mrs. Neelam Mishra. Mrs. Ravnish Bector was the Cultural Head. Various curriculums were held like dances, dramas, fashion show, plays, etc. in which students actively involved themselves and showed their talents. Prize distribution was also done for various events that have previously taken place in the College Campus. The whole event was highly appreciated by everyone.
